A Little Insurance For Your Awning

These straps give you just that much more peace of mind, that the awning won't unfurl going down the road. They also take out the rattle from the arms. Can be used for so much more when not in use. The new design with metal buckles is an improvement over the plastic ones. We use them to strap up the awning light extension cord when set up.

We use these as strap extensions for our awning clamps. They work ok for that. But all they are is velcro straps with a metal loop on 1 end. You can use them for just about anything. They are handy. It would be nice if they were a bit longer but for what we use them for, they work out.

OK, I only do business with Camping world. Plain and simple. They have every thing I need. And being mechanically inclined can do a lot of stuff. Trust me being a woman I keep my RV on tract...

These straps have come in handy to stabilize our awning..we are having some wind but are able to enjoy the added shade and keep the awning stable.

Great Product

So much easier to use than the spring clips that came with our 2010 Coachmen motorhome. I always had a hard time squeezing the clips to get them to release the arm of the bracket. Both of the original clips broke this year (at different times) from heat and exposure to sun, and it took over a hour each time just get the awning extended. Once I removed the old clips, and replacing them with these straps, it will be so much easier to set up in the future.

Old straps broke from being exposed to elements..Replacement straps are good quality and can use for other jobs besides awning..also use to secure awning arms when awning is retracted and ready for travel.

I use these on my awning arms when traveling and I also use them to secure my ladder lawn chair caddy to the camper's ladder. Work great! Easy to use and can be used in many applications!

awning straps

After coming home from a camping trip there was a camper on the side of the road with his awning tore off the roller and the roller was half off the rig. This camper was brand new. I got the straps right away. Next step for me is the chain style lock for the roller and the flapper latches. See it to understand it.

Could Be Better

These are nice because they have no metal to rust. The problem is that you can't get the strapes real tight or the plastic ring will break but, if they are not tight enough they will fall to the bottom of the rail and be no help if the awning was to come loose during travel.
