Our foldout steps on our camper seemed to be giving way to normal weight when someone entered or exited our camper. After installing the step stabilizer, you could hardly tell anyone was using the step. It has to help save wear on the step hardware with the extra support.

I found the stabilizer to work wonders. The step was more firm when stepped on. the only bad thing , when you installed two on a step you had to screw them back in to fit.

Excellent stabalizer but I installed them on the back of each side of my 4' by 6' utility trailer to stabalize the trailer when I get to my destination and want to use the trailer to sleep in or store things in (I put a pickup top on my trailer). At the campsite I disconnect the trailer from the car and wanted to make the trailer stable and useable for a lot more functions. This way we can climb in or out of the trailer with ease and without worrying about tipping the trailer up in the air (did one time before I had these stablizers). They are easy to store or to use as one pin hold each stabalizer in place on the trailer and you pull the pin and they swing down for use. Great buy for the money and they work great.

I bought one of these four years ago, for our trailer that has just one fold out step, and it has worked perfectly. Yes I would buy again.

Needed to use shorter screws to attach stabilizer...

When I attempted to install the stabilizer and drilled holes for the screws into the lower step of my trailer, Their was a problem with trying to to secure the stabilizer into its built in locking position? the screws that were supplied prevented the stabilizer from locking into place (screws were too long) And I needed to use shorter screws... However with that said, I have used this product and am very content with it 's intended purpose and would install it into my next R.V. This time with no problems and no surprises........
