Fantastic System as Long as it Works

Once installed this system was the best backup system I've ever seen (5 stars). My problem is that the rear camera started being intermittent after being stored for 6 months after about 5,000 miles and 10 weeks of use. For a while the camera could be brought back on line by tilting it up and down. After a couple of weeks of travel it quit completely. I worked with a technician was able to determine it was the camera vice
cable at fault. Because I bought it and had it for a few months before it was installed and then stored the coach for 6 months after taking a 10-12 week vacation in it, the manufacturer did not offer any warranty support (period between buying and reporting
failure was too long). RV technicians told me that the cameras are a problem. Great system when it works, but apparently delicate rear camera (VCCT130)
