It was easy to use, just had to buy the proper brush and I was amazed at how dirty my roof was. Works great!

Not strong enough for mildew

The cleaner will clean great but will not bleach out mildew by itself. Rinsed thoroughly, let dry, and treated the roof with two coats of Rubber Roof protector. I recommend it.

Maintaning your rubber roof

I have been rving for now over 25 yrs, and all of my trailers 18+yrs (not pop-ups) have had a rubber roof, and I have always cleaned at least once if not twice per year, and treated it at least once per year. WHY do you ask? Well it is simple, The Dicor paperwork that comes with your coach states it should be done to preserve your warranty, and I really like my cars/trucks rv's clean! I have always used Dicor products as they make the roof (epdm).

Very Good Product

I only use the Dicor products (Cleaner and conditioner) on my rubber roof and have used them exclusively for the past 5 – 6 years. My RV was purchased new in September 2005 and after 8 years I consider my roof to be in very good shape. I have many RV friends and my roof is in much better shape than most with trailers actually newer than mine. I do agree that the RV will need a good bath AFTER the roof cleaning as the white residue will streak down the sides. That being said….I just whip out my Thetford Premium RV Wash and Wax and it cleans off very easily.

WASHY WASHY!

The product seems to clean the Dicor rubber roof as intended. Be prepared to clean the trailer...on the sides...as all the white residue from your rubber roof will stick to your sides. Sounds bad...but that is just the way it is will rubber roofs and cleaning them. Works pretty well in my opinion. Used a find bristle brush while I did do a little hand scrubbing in spots with a windshied bug sponge as well.

Really Works

Normally I don't write reviews but I had to with this. It actually works better than I thought it would. We have new 36' TT that sat outside on dealer lot for 2 years and the roof was not black but it was dirty and starting to streak the sides. I dumped this stuff on the roof & scrubed lightly with a sponge mop in sections and rinsed off. My roof looked like it was new. than treated w/uv protector. Total time was about an hour. Be warned that you well need to plan on washing your rv after as this stuff will streak the sides but if you wash right away it comes right off.

I was not impressed I have used other brands that worked much better. I thought I would try Dicor as they make rubber roofs and sealants for the same. I will stay with another brand.

Have used this product in the past and it works very well for lifting dirt and removing it froim rubber roofs. Suggest using plenty of rinse water to prevent any streaking on sides of trailer or motor home.

Works better that I thought it would

I sprayed the cleaner on and lightly hit it with a brush and was amazed out how quick it took the grime off. This was the first time i have used this product or any product for that matter as I am a rookie with my first camper. I originally thought the roof material was an off white or tan till I cleaned the roof and found out it was actually white under all that grime that came off so easy very little effort needed. One thing i will say is rinse the whole camper very well as the cleaner leaves a film behind after it has dried. Luckily I did the roof first and waited to do the rest of the unit or I would not of been happy.

Very Effective Rubber Roof Cleaner

I use this Dicor cleaner on my travel trailer's rubber roof a couple of times per year followed immediately with Dicor's companion "Rubber Roof Protectant" product. I spray it on using a inexpensive insecticide sprayer then scrub the roof using a soft bristle RV-type washing brush. This cleaner is MUCH more effective than using regular car wash type soaps, which I continue to use for regular RV washings. With a moderate amount of scrubbing, contaminates and stains are effectively removed and the appearance of the roof stays newer looking. This is definitely a worthwhile product.
