This is the best bed that my wife and I have slept on. It is not too hard to set up and it
has one control that controls both sides of the bed. My wife and I have different numbers
that we sleep with. The quality and warranty on this bed are the best.
This is our 3rd Sleep Number bed, bought recently for our 07 Alfa SooLong Motorhome. We had a queen sleep number in our previous motorhome (2004) and before we became full-time RVers we had a full king sleep number (bought in 1998) in
our house. In each and every instance we have loved our Sleep Number bed. It was such a surprise to see the exact dimensions we needed for our 07 MH in the Camping World online email notice. These dimensions weren't available when
we bought the motorthome in 2007.. Many thanks to Camping World, and thanks to Sleep Number for getting us back into
our favorite bed.
My husband and I had been wanting a sleep number bed for a while. For me the bed is what I thought it would be . For my husband the bed is just ok, he is still having a little back problems.
For both of us the price was right and the shipping for good.
I have a Sleep Number at home so it made sense to put one in my 5th wheel and I am so glad we did I sleep so much better no more tossing and turning no more waking up sore...just rested and refreshed! Thank you Sleep Number I will never own anything but a Sleep Number.
This was our third Sleep Number bed-home, previous RV and new RV. We ordered
this bed as soon as we got our new RV. We had a problem with the pump on this bed
so I called customer service at Sleep Number and the rep was very nice. He took me through a few possible fixes then told me he would ship a new pump to us and we would receive it within 5--7 business days. Even with the faulty pump, the bed is more comfortable than the mattress that came with the RV!
We replaced our original RV mattress with this bed. We love it! We
did have problems with our order but spoke with Jessica M of Camping
World who made every effort to correct the problem and followed thru
with our order until it was complete. Thank you Jessica !
After dealing with the OEM mattress in our '08 Everest 344J for far too long, we made the move to the Select Comfort two weeks ago. My constant morning lower back and hip aches went away instantly. My wife and I agree we're now getting some of the most restful sleep we've ever had. We intend to scrap the memory foam bed at home that we recently paid $2,500 for in favor of a SC when we return in April. Assembly was very straightforward. Only concern are the foam border walls - I'm wondering if they will hold up over time. Also, take the instructions for drilling/sawing holes to accomodate hoses and power cords with a grain of salt. We were able to locate the Firmness Control module on a ledge under the sleep platform with no modification necessary other than a throw rug across an extension cord for power. Also recommend going to a SC store beforehand for a demo and to determine starting point sleep numbers using their computer-driven pressure point diagnostic tool.
what is the better mattress of the 2,dream aire or sleep number rv king 72x80
by walterDecember 10, 2015
The finish seems to be marginally better on the Sleep Number Premier bed versus Comfortaire. The profile is also taller(11") compared to Comfortaire(9"). However, Sleep Number and Comfortaire are both brands under Select Comfort. Construction, design, assembly, equipment used, as well as warranty is just about identical between the two brands.

Will this bed stay inflated while dry camping?
Is this the thickest pillow top available in an RV Mattress?
by BabsNovember 14, 2015
Yes, the air chambers in the bed will stay inflated to the set 'Sleep Number' as long as the chambers are properly sealed. If not, then the air can escape. Keep in mind, temperature and elevation can also affect the inflation level of the chambers. To avoid any damage to the beds, the manufacturer recommends leaving the chambers deflated during travel, then filling the chambers after parked at the camp site.
For the most part yes, the Sleep Number bed has the thickest pillowtop, primarily because the alternative are beds comprised of memory foam such as SKU#75785.
