Pocket-sized portable weather radio provides 24-hours-a-day National Weather Service weather alerts no matter where you are-camping, fishing, hunting, golfing, hiking, home or office.

Also alerts you when civil emergencies arise. Features include weather test button to ensure the weather alert feature is functioning properly; auto scan to find an available weather channel and a 6" telescopic antenna for clear reception. This weather radio has just the right features and a great little speaker with clear, crisp sound. I have used it many times and it has performed flawlessly. (However, I have only used it in populated areas so I cannot say how it works in the boondocks.) It fits neatly into a shirt or jacket pocket and comes with a carrying strap so it can be tied around your wrist, to your belt or belt loop, hung from a pack or purse, or even an RV awning. I like it so well that I think I will buy more for gifts this holiday season.
