The price was so right I had to get this for my coonhound. While traveling he owns the back seat of my crew cab - day and night. In cold climes he may be a little cold curled up in his costco dog bed. By putting this travel blanket inside the bed cover (zipper) and plugging into 12 volt outlet he is always warm and cozy next morning. The heating pads on the market now all have auto-off features for safety and render them useless for this application. The cord is not accessible to him and is only 12 volt anyway. I feel this is a best buy.

i gave this item to my wife as she is always cold while traveling during the winter even here in San Diego. I got it with the idea that she could use it until the truck got warmed up. She used it a couple of times and it did the job. She would like it to stay on longer but it turns off after 15 minutes. But it is enough that the truck is warm and she can take it off if she wants to. I would recommend this item to other rvers.
