Sure to love them

My uncle had a set of these on a trip we took this summer, and I was impressed with how easily and well they worked, and with how small they are compared to some of the other chocks available. So I ordered a set for my dual axel trailer. So far I have only used them to park the trailer in the yard, but feel certain I will love them as much as my uncle has.

I was very surprised at how well these things work. They are made well enough to do the job and I bought two (one for each side) As soon as I walked through my camper I could tell they were doing what they claimed to do. There was next to no movement as me and my family moved around inside. I was contemplating buying these or the X style chocks and I gotta say for the money I am very pleased with them.

These chocks work great

We have a 28ft 5th wheel and I have used these for about 4 years. I have tried the other type that you put vertically between your tires(which bent the first time I used them.) These chocks have even been used while parked on an incline. They may get in a little of a bind, if parked on an incline. If this happen when you go to leave, just hook up to the truck first. Adjust them in all of the way, move the truck up just a bit and they chocks will be easily removed. They work great. I am going to buy another set for my Parents 34 foot travel trailer.

We purchased a set of these to help reduce the movement of our travel trailer. Easy to install and keeps the trailer from moving when hitching and unhitching, reduces the movement quite a bit, Will be in a slight bind when removing but a tug will remove them, no harm to your tires.

BAL wheel chockx

I have a set of these wheel chocks that protected my 5th wheel in 82MPH wind. One of them did bend beyond repair but well worth the price because the trailer did not move much at all. My tripod also gave up but there again it saved my trailer as it bent and let the trailer down easy on the front jacks after the wood blocks left. I would definitely recommend these wheel chocks in combination with a tripod to all 5th wheelers.

Any opinion on these yet???

We are considering buying this item but we are concerned if these will slide on pavement or on gravel surfaces. We really wanted to purchase the BAL deluxe locking chock that applies pressure against both tires however, it requires a clearance of 2-1/2 inch minimum between the tandem wheels (we don't have that much clearance). So we are looking for the best alternative. Please help with any info. on this item - we are also hoping it will minimize the rocking motion too.

I bought these chocks and used them for the first time from 4-9-07 through 4-14-07. They eliminate virtually all sway from my 28 ft. travel trailer. My wife has complained repeatedly about the sway that we had in our camper since we bought it. She was very pleased with how well these chocks worked. The adjustment wheel turns so easily you can tighten them by hand. Anyone with a sway problem in your camper, this is the item that you are looking for to correct it. These chocks are very sturdy and I am completely satisfied with their performance.

This chock is very simple to use, and does the job. I have found that I don't even have to use the bar that comes with it to adjust the wheel. I just use my hands, and it works fine without any effort. The only problem we had was at one campground where we had to put the wheels on several level blocks to get our trailer level. The chock will not work then. Overall, great deal for the money.

I purchased these for my 26' TT and when in place stops almost all movement, even on inclines. The material is durable and it would take a lot of pressure using the wing nut to lift the wheels. Just tighten till snug. I will not use anything but these chocks.

I purchased these over the BAL Deluxe Wheel Chocks because of the price. When I put these on my 28' it stopped most of the movement. Easy to put it and take out. The picture shown is slightly different than the set I got. Instead of a wingnut there is a wheel with holes to tighten the unit with the supplied bar. Be careful not to lift the tires as you can if you keep turning the adjustment. Overall good buy. Enjoy.

I use these on a 33' trailer. They hold their place just find. Remeber, all you want to do is block the wheels not lift them off the ground. So, don't over tighten. It doesn't take a body builder to chock the wheels.

I also purchased the newer model without the wingnut. I'm very happy with this unit, it works better than a regular chock, and it's a little cheaper than the jack style. It is a three piece unit, so I suggest storring it in it's box as I do.

I purchased the newest model without the wing nut and it works great. You need to tighten it down pretty hard but it will keep the trailer from moving. This is much better than any of the plastic wheel chocks on the market. Check the distance between your tires before purchasing and then the maximum distance these chocks will extend to ensure that this product will work as well for your trailer as it does for me.

We could not find wheel chocks to fit between the wheels on our fifth wheel until now! Our wheels are very close to each other and nothing else would fit. This product stopped the movement you get while walking around inside. They are well worth it!!

BAL Wheel Chock

The wheels on my fifth wheel are too close together for the other type of chock so I tried this one. I think it works great, it is the best chock I could find that would fit my application. You have to remember to not tighten the wing nut that tight. I only bought one in case I didn't like it ,I just bought the second.
