Almost exactly what I expected, the only exception costing this rating a star. This is still a very white light, not anywhere near the warm white I was looking for. This will be nothing like your current lights, or even fluorescents with warm white tubes in them. The good news is that installation replacing existing wired fixtures is very easy. Lots of light for small battery drain.

This light is great, It puts out way more light then the stock lights. You can use ten of these double pancake lights and use the energy of one old doublepancake light. So you batteries last alot longer when dry camping. Now these come in two light bulbs brightnesses, you have warm white which is more like the light of the org lighting or the bright white,which are really bright. The white bright are cheaper for some reason. They did have them on sale for around $40.00 . I got two and really like them. Was going to buy 10 more but it took so long to get them in the mail the sale was over and I was not going to pay $200.00 more dollars for them. You will need the bazeles.. the trim around the light to cover old lighting imprint and dirt. Very easy to install. As time goes on LED lighting will flood the market and prices will come down. I tried some Led light bulbs, they were all right but not as good as these lights. I prefer the warm white, makes it more like home inside motor home. Bright wite wer to bright for me..Hope I help you out. I will buy more when a sale come up again.

When I got this light I was'nt sure about it, but after getting it installed I wish I could afford to change the rest of the ones in my RV, so I'll do them one at a time.

One of the things I haven't liked about my fifth wheel trailer was that the light from the original (12 v. incandescent bulb) lights was inadequate to read by. I bought two of these Double Pancake LED Light Fixtures recently and finally got around to installing one a week or so ago. WoW! Lots of light, way less heat, way less power consumption, and I like the very white color of the light. It might be too bright in some applications (sitting around with your friends drinking wine) but if you like bright light for other applications, I'd highly recommend this unit. The only problem with it is that if the unit is in your direct line-of-sight, it's almost too bright. We expect to take care of that by only installing them in select locations. BTW, installation was simple - screw out several screws, connect the wires, screw in several screws. Make sure it's the same shape as your current lights or get the base pieces as well. As I recall, screws didn't necessarily go back in the exact same places. Get an electric drill/screw driver and it is EASY!

This light is wonderful, our trailer has double lights but not the rocker switch so the full double light is on all the time, plus they are full white covers, so the lighting is rather yellow, changing to these LED lights where one or both lights can be on is wonderful, the clear, bright light also makes it much easier on the eyes. Although they are VERY expensive at regular price, when you can get them on, the On-Line sale price it is well worth it. I have changed out 5 so far in the trailer and will continue until all are changed out,along with the single pancake lights. Definitely recommend them.

We have replaced 5 of our old light fixtures with the LED. They are wonderful & give off a much brighter, whiter light. as well as a lot less heat. Coupled with the bazel, they are an easy, clean replacement.
