If your awning fabric and roller tube are still in good shape but your traditional awning arms are hard to operate, replace them with Carefree’s easy to operate Pioneer Lite crank-out arms.

Forget about unlocking travel locks or spring mechanisms. Simply turn the telescoping crank handle to extend or retract your patio awning. Once it’s fully open, slide the single track slider arm up to the roller tube and tighten the rafter knobs. Now you can raise the roller tube with the lift handles to any desired pitch—it’s that simple! Make your awning canopy as tight as you want. There’s never a need to re-tension your canopy.

In breezy conditions, the worm gear mechanism prevents your roller tube from unwinding. To retract the awning, just lower the roller tube, loosen the rafter knobs and slide the rafter arms to the closed position. Just turn the hand crank in the opposite direction until the roller tube is tight against the coach and you’re ready for travel. No locks or straps to fuss with to prevent billowing in transit. The crank assembly automatically locks the roller tube in place. Available in White or Black finish.
