Now you can have all the best features of a variety of other power jacks plus more, all built into a Husky-tough, Husky-convenient power jack.
Husky Brute Power Jack, Model HB4500, with 4,500 lb. capacity and level. 2-1/4" jack diameter. The Husky Brute is loaded with features not found on some other power jacks. The Brute is fast, with a travel speed of 10 inches 38 seconds. It does the job, with an 18 inch full stroke and 6 inch drop down leg. It's tough, with hardened steel gears. It's secure, with weather protected switches and a water resistant enclosure. It's versatile, fitting all A-Frame couplers. It's economical, with a low 25A draw at rated load. And it's convenient, with three LED work lights, a built-in connector storage bracket not found on any other power jack, and a 30A circuit breaker. Model HB4500 also includes a level. Less Friction: The Brute is the only power jack in its price range that has a ball screw, which reduces friction compared to the ACME screw used on some other brands. The ball bearings roll through the threads on the Brute's shaft and nut.

  • Allows the motor to work less
  • Draws less amperage
  • Creates less heat
  • Reduces noise
  • Increases motor and jack life.

No matter what your trailer size is the weight when you pull off the ball is much greater than the tongue weight. This has remote control so you can watch your levels without running to the jack. Easy to install, easy to use and looks good. I get lots of compliments from people who have other brands. This one puts them to shame.
Pros: Works as advertised, Extremely easy installation, Reasonably priced, Quiet

If the lights worked well I would give the Husky Brute a 5. Sure saves on the arms and back on us old folks.

The three diode lights are abolutely of no value. They merely "glow", but do not provide usable lighting.
Pros: Works as advertised
Cons: Poor quality

This jack replaced another brand that was slow and noisy. The adjustable foot eliminated the need I had to carry blocks to use with the jack. It was installed in about 30 minutes and was easy. One thing, be careful about the quality of your bolts.
Pros: Works as advertised

Easy install, plenty of torque. The adjustable foot is easy to use and keeps from burning the motor through long runs. Install was easy, but you will need some connectors from any auto parts store. One note, the power head has a place to attach and hold your trailer's plug when not in use. It is handy--but the cost is a very tight fit with your propane tank cover.

I've been totally unimpressed with all power jacks my friends have had on their rigs. They are slow, noisy and most are very cheap looking. This jack is way different. FAST! QUIET! And looks like it should be running long after the paint is faded. I have used it a few times now and it still impresses me. I used to be able to hand crank my tongue full up to full down in about 70 seconds... this unit can do it in just over 60 seconds!

Performed just like the description said it would. It stops when fully deployed or retracted and is fast. Strong enough to do the job and will perform with a partially depleted battery. Well worth the extra money spent over the cheaper, weaker ones I had before.
