Have had this for a year + Really happy with it,, does what its suppose to do,,, No problems with the design. Do what the manufacture recommends, will work fine.Also use the water for washing the unit,, no spots

Ive had mine for 4 months now and it really does make a big differance when you shower.And I have a washer machine and a dish washer and it seems they both work better since i installed it. Its very easy to install.The only bad thing is depends on how much water you use but i hve been having to install salt every 3 weeks. That a pain cause it is heavy and awkward when it is in the basement of trailer.And if your water presure drops it will leak around the rubber gasket thats around the filler cap where you put the salt.I would not recomend this to older retired people because how heavy it is too lift out of the trailer.But it does work very well.
