Although I just bought mine and am anxious to use it, I can't see why it would be difficult to use. It is clear to read and easy to find what you are looking for.
Pros: Excellent features, Easy to use, Good navigation, Helpful
Cons: Screen difficult to read with polarized sunglasses

I purchased this unit and went through set up. All was well until I connected to my computer to install an update using their SmartGPSEco tool. After the update, the unit wouldn't boot up. After an online chat with tech support, they determined it couldn't be fixed. Their offer was to ship me a REFURBISHED unit. I returned the unit to Camping World and exchanged for a new unit. This unit I decided not to update until I returned from a planned trip to GA. Unit worked great on the way down; excellent features and great readability. All in all, I thought it was great. I used it a couple of times to find my way around my son's house and was pleased with ease of use. When I went to return home, the unit wouldn't boot; just flipped back and forth between the splash screen and a black screen. Also, all the while I had it, the battery charge indicator only showed half charged, even after having it on the car adapter for two days and an overnight plugged into ac outlet. On my way home, I stopped at Camping World and exchanged it for a different product. I wouldn't recommend at this time. Excellent features, but unreliable.
Pros: Excellent features, Easy to use
Cons: Poor battery life

We are on our 3rd one. It is slow to calculate a route starting out and has taken us the wrong way more than once. We pull a 33 foot 5th wheel and it took us over the Geo. Washington bridge and thru the tunnel in New York. Not fun. Too many negatives, would not recommend. Thinking about buying a different one.

Programmer of Unit has never traveled in an RV in the US

I am extremely displeased with this unit. To begin with, it does NOT show the speed limit when it is set in RV mode, except when that state has an RV speed limit (very rare). The unit gets lost quite often when you deviate from your route (i.e., to get fuel). It will then take a convoluted route to get back to your route. I have just resigned myself to turning it on and off to reset my position. The unit will alert you to many minor changes, but it has missed some especially confusing intersections. We have now used it for about 15,000 miles all over the US and I would recommend trying another brand. Oh, the auto time zone does NOT work, we always had to set it manually. It is better than no GPS, but I would never buy a Magellan again.

Do not purchase this GPS read my review

This is an absolute nightmare. We were in Crescent City Calf. and went from the Tourist Info Center to get to our campsite in Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. I dialed in the location and off we went straight into a back road. Before we knew it we were stuck and had no choice but to go forward. The GPS lead us 6 miles into the forest mountain with no warning like it was supposed to give, but never mind that it put us on a gravel road . My rig has a large scratch on the side (2013 Airstream ) . Do not buy... is my recommendation . This unit is suppose to be an RV designed GPS. You are probably saying how could this happen and yes that is the question I ask myself, I thought I was careful, but when the information you are being fed is erroneous information, bad things can happen.

Nothing is perfect

We bought this GPS after a terrible experience with missing an entrance onto the freeway and ending-up on a dead-end road with a very low bridge that we couldn't get under with our fifth wheel. (Thank you to the Arkansas State Patrol Officer that helped us out at 2:30 a.m. - as he just happened to be right there when we needed him). The unit is great but is not perfect. We have searched a few times for Points of Interest that should have come-up only to find that they didn't. The touch pad sometimes won't work easily. Anyone looking for a specific unit for a big RV would find this one to be good. But, we also realize that nothing in electronics is perfect. And, we think that it should direct us to appropriate Diesel stations as we've had a hard time in/out with some of them meant for cars. We also had to change the settings when we are not pulling our 35' fifth wheel so that it doesn't take us the long way around, thinking that we need that, when we only have the truck. Points of interest don't include propane sites but it does have dump sites (which we have not yet used). Time will tell if we have any issues with it though but, at this point, I would recommend it.

Ordered from CW on 3/3, received 3/10. It was a stretch for me to purchase Magellan, but the price swung it for me. You must Downloaded/read the owner’s manual from Magellan web site. Programming a route is clumsy because it defaults to POI’s that are near your home due to the “Smart City Search” feature; each time you want to find a POI or enter a city that is not near your home, it takes MUCH longer to enter that POI address. Would be nice to be able to disable the “Smart City Search”. User’s manual doesn’t address many of the user functions, or the options on what you may choose to view on the screen. Only way to find them is by trial-and-error. Example, the default view shows the ETA to your destination in the lower left corner of the screen, but the manual does a terrible job of telling the user that he can choose Distance, Direction, current speed, time remaining, or elevation instead. The downloaded manual is more of an expanded quick-start guide instead of a true user’s manual. Magellan can do a better job on their documentation. The battery life is VERY short; don’t attempt to load a trip into the unit unless you have it plugged in to external power via the wall wart or USB cable to your PC. Panning the screen is VERY difficult. Even when using a stylus, panning is unpredictable and slow. You MUST use the Magellan Content Manager software to download and install any updates. No map updates available since I received the GPS, so I can’t comment on the update procedure. Plus side: I used it on a motorhome trip last weekend, and I’m getting used to it. I was surprised that the speed limit display changed at precisely the spot where the reduced speed sign appears on the highway. Personally, I don’t need that function, and wish it could be disabled so that portion of the screen would show more of the map. I’ve only had the GPS for a month but it's a good value and I would recommend it.

Tech Support Virtually Nonexistant

First unit I received was DOA (it happens). Tech support is only open Monday thru Friday 9am-8pm est so I had to wait until Monday to get help. Come Monday it then took over 30 minutes to talk to tech support and another 30 minutes to decide the unit was unsalvageable. Best Magellan could do was offer 10 business days until I could expect to receive a replacement. Not very good in today's internet driven world where fast service is the rule. I'll bet if I was purchasing a new unit they could get it to me much faster. Amazon routinely delivers units like this in 3 days. Fortunately Camping World came to the rescue and let me exchange the unit. The next unit worked but I could not register it online to get map updates. Another 30 minutes on hold to talk to a tech who, after working on the problem for 30 minutes informed me that they were closing for the night. I was promised a callback the following day to avoid another long wait on hold but that call never came. So more time on hold. In today's world, a higher standard of support is to be expected. Service limited to Monday through Friday with routinely long waits to talk to someone is just not up to what other companies offer. I have now called their tech support line on M, W Th with 30 minutes being the shortest wait. Map updates are also quite cumbersome. Using a 30 mbps connection it still took me well over an hour to download and update the map data. The GPS unit is no better or worse than the completion so I would advise spending your money elsewhere unless you want to spend a lot of time on hold waiting to talk to mediocre tech support.

Magellan RV9365T-LMB 7 GPS

Magellan RV9365T-LMB 7 GPS I have bought GPS of many models but this one is way ahead of its time. From the time I turned it on to the time I set it in my vehicle I was amazed on how user friendly it was. This is exactly what a person needs to get around, not only in the city but through the USA. The GPS mount that extends vertically fits perfectly on the cup holder where I can easily view it instead of the windshield where it's too far. The info. it contains is perfect. Garmin, Rand McNally, and Tom Tom GPS have been left in the dust with this model. I had bought a RM 7 model but returned it for the Magellan RV9365T-LMB 7 GPS - Cool !!!
