Installed two weeks ago to replace older vent/fan. Took more time to remove old ceilent than properly install new fan. A couple of tips , use large replaceable blade scraper (home depot has a good selection) and have puddy form-a-gasket in advance(home depot again,sink drain puddy works great) the fan did not come with a gasket and puddy is better anyway.if in a very windy area install shroud also. fan works great and is quiet.Will be adding another shortly over shower.Cheers

Existing vent was a bugger to remove! Factory used so much caulking / sealant that is was a pain to get out. Fan-Tastic directions said remove & clean old caulking - easier said than done! Plan for plenty of time and patience to remove the old vent and caulking / sealant. Once the prep was complete the new Fan-Tastic Fan installed nicely into the existing opening. When measuring to cut down the new interior plastic flashing take care as the wiring is only about an inch above so dont force the flashing up into the opening for a measurement as the wiring will be cut. (They don't mention anything about this in the install directions) As others have noted be sure to have plenty of caulking / sealant on hand as none will come with the new unit. Once installed the new Fan-Tastic looks very nice and functions great. Good addition to a camper for boondocking where A/C or 110 power is not available.Great price, shipping &service from Camping World!
