MEL RIEMAN REC (ND), ND

The Mel Rieman Campground and recreation area is located on 70 acres adjacent to Baldhill Dam. There are 21 campsites located throughout the campground; 10 of these campsites offer electrical hookups. There is potable water and vault privies located within the campground. The Day Use Area which is located in a close proximity to the campground offers a visitor center with flush toilets, showers, swimming beach, volleyball, horseshoe and playground areas, picnic shelter, concessionaire, fish cleaning station, and a boat ramp and courtesy dock.

Getting there

The main route is via Interstate 94 to Valley City exit #292. From Valley City, take a left once you go under the Railroad Bridge, then follow County Road 19 along the valley for 12 miles.
