Getting there
Richard Bong State Recreation Area is located in western Kenosha County approximately 35 miles southwest of Milwaukee and 9 miles east of Burlington. The entrace is on Hwy 142, 1 mile west of Hwy 75. From Milwaukee or Chicago, take the Hwy 142 exit from I-94. Go west 9 miles to the park entrance. From Madison, follow I-90 to Janesville; exit onto Hwy 14 East. Follow Hwy 14 east to Hwy 11 East. Take Hwy 11 east into Burlington to Hwy 142. Follow Hwy 142 east from Burlington, 9 miles, to the park entrance.
