BULLTOWN CAMP (WV), WV

Bulltown Campground is located at Burnsville Lake on the Little Kanawha River. The Bulltown Historic Area is also located here. It was the site of a Civil War Battle with reenactments taking place bi-annually. Visitors can visit the Interpretive Center and take tours of the historic structures and battlefield. The campground offers 204 campsites along with playgrounds and bathhouses. A boat launch is located in the campground and there is a beach about a mile away. Other activities include hiking, boating, wildlife observation, fishing, hunting, picnicking and sightseeing. There are two stores located near the campground, one at the entrance and one 3 miles away. Groceries, camping supplies, and bait can be found here.

Getting there

If traveling north of Charleston WV: From I-79, take Exit 67 (Flatwoods) and travel north on US 19 for 10 miles, and follow signs into campground. If traveling south from Clarksburg, WV: Take Exit 91 (Roanoke), travel south on US for 28 miles and follow signs into campground.
