A 'must-have' for swinging screen doors

July 2010 RV Accessories by

Keeping your RV, camper or travel trailer open by using a screen door can help keep it cool and enhance your enjoyment of the natural surroundings. However, many campers find that their vehicle's screen doors are a little flimsy and the screens can be easily ripped if pushed the wrong way.

A camper's choice solution to this common problem could be the Screen Door Cross Bar product.

This push bar is installed on the screen door and allows for an easier exit as well as protecting the screen from being ripped.

It does require some basic installation, including drilling some small holes in the screen door. However, consumers who have used this product say it is easy to install and worth the money it costs.

One Camping World customer, who gave the product a five-star rating, wrote, "This screen door cross bar was very simple to install. It is going to prove to be a very useful addition to my travel trailer. I think that this is one of the most inexpensive yet highly functional additions I have made to my travel trailer so far."
