The Align-A-Site Satellite Finder aims to alleviate this problem by letting you see what your dish sees.
The device is easily mounted onto your television or internet dish, with no need for a leveling pole. You can view both azimuth and elevation at the same time, allowing for the maximum accuracy while positioning your dish.
