Dealers can search for obscure RV parts on new website

Locating hard-to-find RV parts recently got a little easier with a new website.

According to RV Business, rvpartsource.com came online a few months ago as a consignment site for dealers throughout the United States and Canada to post unwanted parts inventory for consignment sale.

It was started to help dealers prevent throwing away valuable parts that were not in immediate demand and that could not be returned to suppliers. The owners say rvpartsource.com provides them with a way to save their bottom line.

They say the online catalog has been a success and is still growing.
However, they felt there should be a way for dealers to inquire with one another to share inventory. So they added a new feature called the "Part Finder" that allows dealers to fill out a form on what they're looking for via the website. Then rvpartsource.com forwards the information on the needed parts to dealers and suppliers across the country to connect the buyer with a seller.

As with all of its consignment services, there is no up-front charge to the buyer or seller. The company charges a commission upon the sale of the item.
