Four Winds introduces the innovative and appealing new Serrano


When it comes to a new Class A motorhome, can you really have your cake and eat it too?  Well, if it's the new Serrano from Four Winds you can! The Serrano is a fresh and innovative new brand of Class A motorhome.  It provides all the comforts of a large luxury motorhome in a compact, fuel-efficient package. Available in two floorplans, the 31V and 31Z, the Serrano starts at 32'1" with neither floorplan measuring more than 32'10".  Overall coach height sits at only 11'5".

 
Quiet, Composed Chassis

The Workhorse W20D chassis serves as the foundation for this new class of coach.  The International MaxxForce™ 7 diesel engine is the perfect combination of power and finesse.  Derived from the same engine block used in the Ford F-series pick-up truck, the MaxxForce™ 7 is the quietest and most composed engine in the MaxxForce™ line-up.  Providing 620-lb.ft.  of torque, the MaxxForce™ 7 uses an Allison 6-speed transmission to corral the power and put it to the ground for a truly enjoyable and fuel-efficient driving experience.  Speaking of fuel efficiency, initial estimates show the Serrano getting in the neighborhood of 35% better fuel economy than a traditional gas-powered Class A motorhome

 
Easy Parking

Maneuverability gets the Serrano get into tight parking spaces and campgrounds with ease.  The 50-degree wheel cut on the front wheels along with a compact 190" wheelbase make the Serrano one of the tightest turning Class A motorhomes in the industry.
 

Aerodynamic Profile

The coach exterior sets it apart from other models, with an aerodynamically-designed front cap and curved sidewalls that easily cut through the wind.  A full body paint package, with three different options, comes standard.  The optional armless patio awning is a great way to provide plenty of camping space without running into the awning arms found on other motorhomes.  The basement area provides plenty of space for everything while on the road, whether it's just for the weekend or full-timing.  The rear "Mega" storage compartment provides more than 108 cubic feet of capacity.  The three doors leading into the compartment make it easy to access whatever's inside.

 
Euro-style Elegance

A contemporary look with European-inspired curved cabinetry highlights the interior.  Well-placed linoleum covers the floor in high-traffic areas like the kitchen and bathroom, while residential carpet provides a soft spot to step on in the living room and bedroom.  Infiniss leather furniture in the cockpit and living area provide seating areas with the best combination of comfort and relaxation.

To make the best of dining or entertaining, the unique U-shaped dinette provides maximum seating in minimum space.  In the kitchen, a cook will feel right at home with plenty of counter space for preparing meals, storage for all their pots and pans, and even a pantry with adjustable shelves to store canned goods.  The single-lever sink faucet is tall enough to fill the deepest pot in the oversized sink.

The bedroom provides a quiet and relaxing area at the end of a day.  A full-sized queen bed runs north and south with plenty of aisle space to easily make the bed.  An innovative lighting scheme built into the headboard can set the mood or double as a night light,  while the optional 19" LCD TV is high definition-capable and easily viewed from the bed.

The 31V features a 32" LCD TV in the living room and the 31Z has a 26" LCD TV in the front overhead cabinet.  Electronics options include a back-up monitor with rear view camera, 19" high definition-capable LCD TV in the bedroom, home theater with surround sound speakers and an outside entertainment center with 26" LCD TV and DVD player.  Every Serrano comes prepped for a satellite dish right from the factory, so it's easy to add one.


Plentiful Power

An Onan QD 6,000 watt diesel generator provides all the power needed inside the coach while 50-amp service allows both 13,500-btu air conditioners to run simultaneously to keep you cool.
