Fleetwood's positive reputation continues to grow after 50 years

It can be difficult to shop for an RV, especially if you've never done so before. Spending thousands of dollars at once can be intimidating in general, which is why most consumers want to make sure they get the most of their money when purchasing an RV.

Fleetwood is one RV manufacturer that understands this, which is why it continues to be an industry leader today. The company, which has been in business since the 1950s, did not start out in a traditional fashion. Originally, Fleetwood was situated around creating accessories for RVs, such as window treatments. At this time, it was also known as the Coach Specialties Company.

John Crean, the CEO and founder of the business, originally began the Coach Specialties Company in a greenhouse. After becoming renowned in the industry, Crean decided to try his hand at creating RVs in addition to accessories. His ambition paid off, and years later, Coach Specialties Company is still booming.

In 1957, the business officially changed its name to Fleetwood. Since then, it has become a household name among campers and nature enthusiasts alike. The company offers a wide range of RVs to travelers who are interested in relaxing in the great outdoors.
