This generator was easy to set up. From the time I unpacked it, installed the rubber feet, spark arrestor, oil and fuel it took 30 minutes tops. This little jewel started on the 1st pull, amazing! I have run 4 tanks of fuel doing maintenance work on my camper only shutting it off to check the fuel and oil and it started 1st pull every time. This generator performed very well for the power it is capable of providing. It responded well with light loads and heavy load without hesitation. The Champion generator got really good fuel time as indicated on the box (of course, as you know, fuel time is related to load) and I was not disappointed with its fuel performance. Generator is light and compact and its frame makes its easily accessible for one or two persons to carry. I used it primarily with power tools and lighting for various jobs on my camper and at my campsite. I would most certainly recommend this generator to my friends and anyone looking for lightweight, portable power at a decent price.

It only took me about 15 minutes to set up the Champion Generator including reading the directions. The generator was so easy to start even a child could start it. The generator performed great. I even used it to power my impact wrench. The governor opened up and powered it well. One person can easily lift and move the Champion generator to a desired location. We used the generator to run lights, kitchen appliances, impact wrench, and weed whips. Our son uses a C-PAP machine and this would work great when we dry camp with our Class A or go tent camping. The compactness and carrying ease of this generator exceeded expectations. I would especially recommend to friends with breathing apparatus. In case of loss of electricity, a necessary appliance can be kept running with the help of an extension cord. If a camper is dry camping, it could be used to keep batteries in a camper charged. I priced similar generators, most were double in cost to the Champion.

The Champion generator exceeds my expectations. I have always been apprehensive to purchase a generator because of the noise levels, and complicated usage. This generator is no louder than a small lawn mower, and is as easy to use as flipping a switch! It was very easy to start and worked on the first pull. The portability and compactness makes it very easy to take RVing, camping, etc. The models fits in our belly storage in our 26' pull behind trailer. We were able to take it out and set up in just a couple of minutes. Although our air conditioner is too large for this unit, we were able to run everything else in the trailer. I believe the cost is well priced! I would actually expect to pay a little more because of the quality and ease of use.
