Additional mirrors could increase RV safety

December 2011 RV Product Reviews by

Among the most important things for any RV owner is having the the ability to see as much of the road as possible and be aware of all traffic passing by. And while most RVs will come with side mirrors, sometimes motorists feel more comfortable if they can get an even more in-depth look.

There are many products drivers can buy to get a closer look at what is coming behind them. Perhaps one of the most popular is the Dual Head XLR Rachet Clip-On Mirror, which can be found on Camping World's website.

One reviewer on the retailer's site found that the extra mirror held up very well and was just what the reviewer needed to have a more pleasant trip.

"We used these on our first trip and found them easy to put on and take off," a Camping World customer wrote. "We put a small strip of rubber shelf liner between the top of the truck's mirror housing and the extender brackets and the mirrors did not move at all."
