Flashlights are a thing of the past with LED headlamps

The woods can quickly go from serene to creepy in a matter of hours when the sun sets. Paths that were easily found in the daylight are not navigable in the pitch black of the wilderness, and a simple stumble can send a flashlight flying out of a camper's hand to shatter on a rock. Artificial illumination is essential for safe nights during camping trips, and a headlamp can make sure that there will always be light in front of a person's eyes.

For example, the Coleman LED Headlamp fastens securely around a camper's head and features a pivoting light that can be adjusted for height or vision preferences. The device produces a powerful 24 lumens from just three AAA batteries, which are included in the package.

A customer on CampingWorld.com wrote, "My husband said this is the best thing I ever gave him! We live on a farm and it is a dark walk to the RV. It really helps when he is working on anything that requires me to hold the light. These lamps are of excellent quality and are a real bargain as well."
