Plastic glasses compliment any dining experience

While bright red plastic cups are certainly useful for any type of drink, they lack an air of refinement that many campers like to feel when consuming more nuanced beverages like wine. Wine always seems to taste better when accompanied by firelight, and a nice synthetic glass can provide the illusion of crystal without the fragility associated with real glasses.
