Travel baskets provide quick and easy solutions on picnics and camping trips

A traditional picnic basket is made out of a firm material like a wooden or plastic weave, and it often takes up a lot of space in a crowded car or RV. Collapsible storage bins make it much easier to quickly carry items, and Worldwide Merchandise took this idea a step further by creating the Tri-Fold travel basket.

The device is simply a canvas bag that attaches to an aluminum frame for shape and durability. Velcro straps secure it to the metal, and rubber feet round out the bottom for stability. The whole contraption weighs less than two pounds, and can hold anything from food to camping gear.

"We were very pleased with the basket. It is light, rugged and inexpensive," wrote a customer on CampingWorld.com. "We use it loading and unloading our camper as well as taking stuff to the outside table while camping. We have been pleased with the size in that it seems to hold a lot. It folds up to be very compact."

Campers who are planning to enjoy a picnic can now rejoice, because collapsible travel baskets can simply be folded up and put in a backpack once they are done being used.
