A sturdy table and comfortable chair combined in one package

Director’s chairs have long been a staple in the movie industry. The canvas stretched over the iconic X-shaped wooden frame always has the star or director's name stamped across the back, and the built-in stand makes scripts, notes and other useful items immediately available to the occupant. Seating manufacturers have capitalized on this idea by adapting it to the camping world.

The Director's Chair from Worldwide Merchandise is essentially the offspring produced by the union of the chair and table. Weighing in at less than 12 pounds, the chair is made of green polyester fabric stretched over an aluminum frame that can safely support upwards of 200 pounds. The fold-out table to the right can hold anything from food to camping accessories without endangering the balance of the chair.

"This is one lightweight chair," said a customer on CampingWorld.com. "It has the added bonus of a side pouch that hangs off of one arm (great for books, cell phone, etc.) and a little attached table on the other arm. We have no complaints about this chair at all and would recommend this chair to anyone."
