When a windstorm happens, it can be a major inconvenience for those trying to enjoy a nice day of relaxation on the patio of an RV. Whether it’s paper plates being swept up or unattended chairs toppling over, the issue can cause major problems.

Among the items most susceptible to wind is the awning. However, with the Awning De-Flapper MAX from Camping World, consumers can get the situation under control. Those who have made the purchase said that it was easy to use and it did the job just as advertised.

"For protection from high wind, this product is well thought-out, well constructed, sturdy, and simple to use. It has a screw-down hard plastic clamp with an inner rubberized grip that firmly holds the awning in place," wrote a reviewer on Camping World's website. "The clamp is attached to a wide Velcro strap that adjusts to anchor to the awning frame to reduce damaging wind stress and noise from flapping."

For less than $20, RV owners can easily solve this issue and focus on enjoying time hanging around their vehicles without anything getting damaged.
