Solitary campers can use smaller tents just as effectively as larger ones

Some hikers choose to forego companionship during wilderness trips in order to enjoy the silent beauty of nature, and these people often achieve feats that would be impossible for a larger group. However, solitary backpackers do not have the advantage of having a partner to help them set up a tent, so their sleeping areas must be very easy to set up and take down without assistance.

American Recreational Products manufactures a Rokk Delmar tent that is perfect for solo adventures. Innovative features like the Nite Brite system allow campers to find their way back to a campsite from a midnight star-gazing trip without a friendly voice to guide them. The tent comes with a fly that makes good airflow possible in any weather conditions. The inner bindings are taped to prevent moisture from building up, and the 1000mm floor has pockets that allow for storage of personal items.

The fiberglass frame of the Rokk Delmar weighs less than three pounds, which is easy for a single person to carry. This portable tent is the perfect companion for a solitary hiker.
