Heated socks can keep the winter chill out of boots and shoes

No matter how insulated and warm footwear is, the average person still finds it difficult to keep their feet from freezing when camping in colder environments. Chilly toes can make any hiking trip a miserable experience, not to mention dangerous with the risk of frostbite in sub-freezing conditions.
