The ZT28BH is a new addition to CrossRoads RV’s Zinger line of family-focused travel trailers and 5th wheels. Like its stablemates, it offers some decidedly advantageous features for active families with growing kids.

Among the many features that make living in the ZT28BH easy for families are the 50" x 74" comfort bunks adjacent to the bathroom in the rear of the trailer. These bigger-than-bunks beds accommodate toddlers to teens in comfort. Access to the top bed is a snap using the easy-up ladder that stows away when not in use. Draw the privacy curtains and the kids are tucked in for the night, leaving Mom and Dad to enjoy the seclusion of the master bedroom up front.

Another ingenious feature is direct access to the bathroom from outside. No need for kids (or adults) to run through the kitchen and living area to reach the facilities. Plus the generous 40" long tub/shower is plenty spacious for scrubbing up the little tykes at the end of the day as well as for relaxing showers for the adults.

Like the other Zinger towables, the ZT28BH offers plenty of space in the living and dining areas, the heart of RV living. The single slideout holds a 48" Super Booth dinette (another kid-friendly feature) and a comfortable 64" sleeper sofa from which to enjoy the built-in entertainment center. The contemporary, well-designed kitchen features a 16" three-burner range with oven, large double sink with high-rise faucet, 6 cu. ft. refrigerator (an 8 cu. ft. model is optional), microwave and built-in pantry. Drawers glide smoothly on ball bearing guides and a range hood with light and exhaust fan draws out cooking odors fast. The 7' ceiling height (6' in the slideout) adds to the spacious feel of the interior.

The master bedroom offers a 60" x 74" queen bed with twin night stands, two shirt closets, copious overhead storage and a spacious wardrobe. Just slide the door closed for a peaceful oasis at the end of a busy day.

Top-quality, easy-care vinyl floor covering flows throughout the interior. Carpet is optional in the master bedroom. Rich Cocoa Cherry finish cabinets and trim accent the wall coverings, window treatments and durable upholstery on sofa and dinette.

The ZT28BH boasts family-friendly amenities outside too, including a swing-out handrail at the main entrance door that’s helpful for both kids and adults. An exterior shower works great for rinsing beach sand off toddlers and other outdoor clean-ups. An optional rear-mounted gas grill is handy for cookouts under the patio awning that comes standard in the Convenience Package.

The exterior is built for the long haul, with a one-piece rubber roof that carries a 12-year warranty. Molded rain gutters along the entire roof line use 3" drip spouts to divert water away from sidewalls to minimize streaking. An insulated, enclosed underbelly protects vital under-floor components. An diamond plate stone guard shields the lower portion of the aerodynamic front end from gravel and debris thrown off the tow vehicle’s rear tires. The ZT28BH rides on nitrogen-filled 15" radial tires mounted on CrossRoads RV’s Secure Stance axles which feature an extra-wide 15" spacing between tires for reduced sway and easier towing.
