The 2010 NASCAR season is heading west next weekend with the Stater Brothers 300 and Auto Club 500 on February 20th and 21st at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.
The weekend race events begin on Friday, February 19th with the qualifying day. Saturday's Stater Brothers 300 marks female racer Danica Patrick's west coast NASCAR debut and Sunday's Auto Club 500 features top NASCAR names, including last year's winner Matt Kenseth.
The track, located in southern California, includes approximately 1,800 infield reserved RV spaces, as well as an 500 additional RV camping spaces in an offsite camping area.
The Camping World infield is located inside of the racing oval. Reserved RV spaces are approximately 15 by 40 feet and wristbands are required for entry. Access begins Thursday morning and vehicles are not allowed to exit and re-enter the area.
No tent camping is permitted in the infield area and only self-contained vehicles will be granted access. This includes RVs with on-board potable water storage, a cooking stove, a water or chemical toilet and permanently installed holding tanks with a three-day capacity for gray or black water.
The offsite camping area, known as the RVs.com camping area, has 20 by 40 feet sites and features amenities including showers, restrooms, 24-hour security and shuttle service to the admissions area.
