MotorHome magazine has announced it will hold a special pre-Rally program aimed at RV enthusiasts who want to get an in-depth look at the RV lifestyle and industry prior to attending the Rally, which is the largest organized gathering of RVers in America.
The special, four-day event is being hosted by MotorHome's publisher Bob Livingston and his wife, Lynne.
Attendees will meet on Friday, July 16 in Elkhart, Indiana. Activities will include a guided tour of the Newmar RV factory, a tour of the RV and Motorhome Hall of Fame Museum, an interactive tech and lifestyle seminar and a trip to the Studebaker National Museum in nearby South Bend, Indiana. Socializing with like-minded RV enthusiasts as well as great dining and partying is also included, according to MotorHome magazine.
On Monday, the group breaks camp and heads for the Rally site in Louisville, about six hours away. Once there, participants will gather for a farewell party and get a preview of all the great things in store for them during the following six days at the Rally.
The cost for individuals already signed up for the Rally is $1,169 per rig (two people) and $1,299 for those who aren't registered for the Rally. More information is available on MotorHomeMagazine.com.
