Keystone RV founder donates $2.65 million for athletic facility

The founder of Keystone RV, Cole Davis, and his wife, Jeannie, will donate $2.65 million dollars to the University of Arizona (UA) men's basketball program, according to Fox Sports.

The gift, which is the fourth largest in the UA Athletics history, will be used for facility upgrades at McKale Center and Richard Jefferson Gymnasium.

"This gift from Jeannie and Cole Davis allows the future of Arizona basketball to have one of the finest strength and conditioning facilities in the country," said UA men's basketball coach Sean Miller. "Their belief in our program and the student-athlete, coupled with their incredible generosity, significantly impacts our future."

The Davises, who purchased a retirement home in Tucson in 1999 and became permanent residents in 2003, also support several other UA causes. They previously donated $1 million to name the west court of Jefferson Gymnasium in honor of women's basketball star Shawntinice "Polkey" Polk, who tragically died, and supported the C.A.T.S. Life Skills program as well as the UA College of Fine Arts and the Arizona Cancer Center.

Cole Davis founded Keystone RV, which he sold to Thor Industries in 2001.
