RV owners can receive recall information electronically

A new service alerts RV owners about recalls that may affect them by email.

RV.net and the Good Sam Club have partnered with the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration (NHTSA) to offer RV owners free RV-related recall alerts via email.

The service was started to help ensure that RVers are informed of all recalls related to their vehicles.

When recalls occur, it is imperative that RVers know about the potential issues relevant to their RVs and the materials and products inside of them in order to ensure owners' safety and that of other travelers on the road.

RV owners can visit the website RVRecallAlert.com to register their vehicle information. After filling out the short online registration form, they will begin to receive recall alerts when necessary.

RV.net and the Good Sam Club will track the NHTSA safety recall information on a weekly basis and will notify owners via email when a recall matches their vehicle.

The service is offered free of charge and is available to all RV owners.
