Continental launches RV tire website

The Continental tire company has launched a new section on its commercial website for RV tires.

Responding to customer requests, the commercial tire division will now list its tire products for large recreational vehicles, as well as have an informational manual on the site, said Continental's Clif Armstrong.

"Recreational vehicle owners have raved to us for years about the low vibration, low maintenance and long durability of Continental tires," he said. "We decided to no longer keep our tires the 'best kept secret' in RVing and to go ahead and put our product listings out on the web for tire-savvy consumers."

The new RV section organizes Continental tire offerings for larger RVs by their application - either primarily on highway, or for mixed road use.

Continental's field engineers and warranty experts also developed an informational manual for RV tires that can be printed from the site. The manual includes information about RV loading practices, tire inflation tables, understanding RV weights and common tire wear conditions.
