Playing cards and other games are a great way to spend time together as a family. The card game UNO, in particular, is a great take-along game for traveling and can provide people of all ages with hours of fun.
UNO is known as America's number one card game. The object of the game is to be the first to score 500 points. Players race to play all of their cards before their opponents. In turns, players attempt to play a card by matching its color, number, or word to the top card in the discard pile. If unable to play, players draw a card from the draw pile, and if still unable to play, they pass their turn. Points are scored by being the first to rid yourself of all the cards in your hand before your opponents. Players also must call out "UNO" when they have just one card left. Failing to do so results in players having to pick two new cards from the draw pile.
UNO can be played with two to 10 players, ages 7 and up, individually, or in teams.
Featuring America's most beautiful national treasures, the UNO National Parks game features pictures of national parks on the cards. An ideal version of the game for those traveling to see some of the nation's sights in person!
