The Tailgater portable sound system is much more than an iPod speaker. It incorporates high-power two-way speakers, an amplifier, audio inputs, an iPod dock and a rechargeable battery for cordless use, making it ideal for use in a variety of situations including tailgating, camping and picnicking.

The product allows users to plug in the included microphone for use as a PA system, plug in electric guitars or keyboards and adjust tone with integrated controls, connect a radio, CD player or other audio source so everyone can listen to music, game play-by-play, or important weather or news announcements.

Other possible uses include calling bingo games, leading cheers, making announcements and singing along to broadcast or pre-recorded music.

Though it comes in a compact package, the Tailgater produces exceptional sound quality. Enhanced bass output creates full, rich sound from any source.

It includes a built-in, eight-hour battery with a level indicator but can also be plugged in via its 110-volt power cord for unlimited use.
