While running water is perhaps one of the most appreciated benefits of RV travel, many say that hard water is common and can leave deposits on faucets and fixtures. The Portable Water Softener and Conditioner may provide an easy and convenient fix for the problem.

This product traps the calcium and magnesium that makes water hard and forms deposits.

The fiberglass canister is small and lightweight so it's easily portable and stores compactly in the RV's fresh water bay.

Users say installation is simple and does not require tools. The fresh water hose connects between the park faucet and your RV water entry. It also does not require electricity to function and features a built-in bypass and drain for easy winterization.

The item requires 6 pounds of solar or rock salt, which is sold separately, to function. Soft water lasts approximately two to four weeks, depending on use. It can be regenerated by adding new rock salt.

Once in use, consumers say this product allows soap to lather more easily and keeps hair and skin softer than with hard water.
