Competition encouraged at virtual outdoor expo

The producer of the upcoming virtual outdoor expo, which will be held online from November 1 – November 3, says that the event will feature many competing businesses in several outdoor industries.

Several campground wireless internet providers, online campground reservation service companies, park models and cabin manufacturers, publications, games and sporting suppliers, and insurance providers will take part in the expo, according to producer Art Lieberman.

Lieberman, who is also the President of MCPS for Campgrounds, a credit card provider which specializes in the campground industry, says he reached out to his competitors to exhibit at the expo as well.

"If you're smart, you concentrate on what your own business brings to the prospective customer and try not to outdo your competition," he said. "That's always been my philosophy, and it has served my business well. There's plenty of business to go around."

The virtual outdoor expo is the first completely online event of its kind for the industry. It will have all the components of a live convention, including a registration area, exhibit halls, a conference center for webinars, a lounge and a press room.
