Toyota 4Runner Winner

October 2010 Highways by

Randall and Deanna Myers of Stony Point, North Carolina will be pulling their pop-up camper with an all-new 2010 Toyota 4Runner after winning the Toyota Sweepstakes at Camping World earlier this year. Mrs. Myers thought it was a joke when President’s Club Executive Director Michael Siemens called to inform her that she was the sweepstakes grand prize winner.

“I told him he was lying and that nobody really won those kinds of things,” she said. “Boy, I guess I was wrong! I still didn’t believe it for like a week.” Mrs. Myers said she had never before won a sweepstakes, and that she entered the Toyota Sweepstakes online.
The 4Runner is the first SUV she has ever owned, though she had admired the 4Runner for some time.

“Now I have one of my own,” she laughed. “How lucky am I?”

The Myers’, who are President’s Club members, bought their 1987 Jayco pop-up in February of this year. Mrs. Myers said they bought the camper so they could explore the outdoors with their one-year-old son Rhet. They plan to use their new 4Runner to pull their camper and for daily driving.

“And who knows?” said Mrs. Myers. “With the durability of the Toyota 4Runner, this could stay in our family and turn out to be my son’s first car when he turns 16.”
