Eating healthy while on the road can be difficult. Between restaurants featuring local specialties, the ease of barbecuing not-so-healthy meals and spending time with friends and family, many RVers find it hard to eat properly while away from home.

Steaming is an often recommended cooking method, as it helps foods to retain their nutrients and enhances flavor.

While many people associate this cooking method with vegetables, it can be used for other dishes including frozen meats, seafood, rice, whole grains, eggs, sauces, fruits and desserts. (A manual with recipes is included with the steamer.)

This portable product includes three steamer baskets that can be stacked or removed depending on how much food you're preparing. It also features digital touch controls, a water level indicator and an external reservoir that allows users to refill it while the unit is in operation.
