Having a basic knowledge of how your RV systems work can prove invaluable in case problems arise while travelling.

Owners who are looking to learn more about how their vehicles operate may want to consider attending one of the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association's (RVIA) Troubleshooter Clinics.

These events, which are organized by the RVIA's education department, will be held at several locations in 2011. They include the Wyndham DFW Airport North in Irving, Texas (January 17-21), the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts (February 7-11), the Ivy Tech Community College in Goshen, Indiana (March 7-11) and the North Seattle Community College in Seattle, Washington (March 28 - April 1).

At these popular clinics, participants will learn how to quickly diagnose and correct malfunctions in all major systems found in today's RVs. Industry experts provide attendees with a comprehensive review of major RV component parts during the sessions.

The cost to attend is $599 per registrant. However, those who register at least 30 days in advance are eligible to receive an early bird rate of $499.

A certificate and Troubleshooter's cap are awarded upon completion of the clinic and attendance to all assigned classes.

Individuals interested in attending should contact the RVIA's education department.
