While traveling in a motorhome, a flat tire is the last thing a driver wants to deal with when they are miles away from a service station. Tire blow-outs are common in even the newest recreational vehicles, but a TireMinder tire pressure monitoring system may be able to reduce the risk of it occurring.
The wireless device monitors the tire pressure in RVs while keeping track of temperatures as well. At less than two pounds, the gadget takes up little space and provides travelers reassurance while on the road. The system also offers visual and audio warnings when a tire is close to blowing out.
"I bought this to monitor the tires on my trailer and tow vehicle," one Camping World customer wrote on the website. "It works great in all respects! Not only does it warn you of low pressure, but it alerts you to a rapid and not so rapid fall in pressure, an unsafe increase in pressure and an unsafe high temperature in any wheel!"
Motorhome travelers who purchase the device will also receive a one-year warranty from the manufacturer. The system might be able to prevent an undesirable roadside accident and costly repairs.
