Portable tubs have multiple uses in a pinch

To save space while enjoying the outdoors, an experienced camper will pack items that have a multitude of different uses. For example, multi-tools are a popular addition to a tool kit or knife set, and can be used to do anything from cutting string to sparking a fire. When it comes to cooking and washing, however, there is no better device than a compact tub.

Progressive International manufactures a collapsible 10-quart tub that can easily be stored in the trunk of a car or underneath an RV sink. Almost any campground task that one can think of can be assisted by the tub, whether using it as a basin for laundry or as a container for food, firewood or accessories. And the tub is dishwasher safe if it needs to be washed.

"I purchased this to save space, and I just love its collapsible feature, it doesn't take up much space at all," raved a customer on CampingWorld.com. "I used [it] to carry things back and forth when loading or unloading the RV, to wash dishes in...lots and lots of uses. Lightweight, very sturdy."

Collapsible products are becoming more innovative, and who knows? Maybe a collapsible RV will come next.
