RV dealers seeing increased web traffic, leads

MyRVAdvantage, an online business development firm that tracks online activity and generates leads for the RV industry, says that strong online trends are reinforcing the optimism heard at the National RV Trade Show earlier this month.

The company has reported that both average web traffic and qualified leads generated across all its customers is up significantly compared to the same time last year. They say dealer website traffic was up between 10 percent and 54 percent in both October and November, and that qualified leads generated were up 32 percent in October and 23 percent in November compared to the same months last year.

In addition, the company says initial December reports show that the positive trend is continuing, although with slightly smaller increases.

"Dealers are still reporting a 20 percent average closing ratio on those qualified leads, so we're feeling confident that these trends represent real buyers rather than consumers simply browsing for information," said MyRVAdvantage Vice President Steven Webster.

The company specializes in working with dealers to create traffic and convert visitors into qualified leads. In addition, MyRVAdvantage helps dealers attract new customers and works to pre-qualify them to help dealers close sales more quickly.
