The popularity of social networking has prompted a marketing communications firm to create an informative website on these outlets specifically for RV dealers.
According to RV Business, RVSocialMedia.com was built by HuebnerPetersen Marketing Communications to help RV dealers better understand and navigate through social media marketing.
The site was prompted after dealers began asking for help on how to use social networking to boost business.
"As dealers hear more and more about social media and its impact, they're looking for focused information on how they can make social media work at their dealership," said HuebnerPetersen's Bethany Grabher. "We wanted to be able to provide dealers with a resource for finding 'how-to' info specific to their needs."
RVSocialMedia.com contains information, guides, case studies, tips and tricks for RV dealers to use sites like Facebook, Twitter, Delicious and LinkedIn, as well as other social media platforms like blogs. It is updated several times a week.
The popularity of social media as a marketing tool has been used by a wide variety of industries. The Huffington Post says social media sites have now become the number one activity on the web.
