Jayco sticks to its roots and humble beginnings
It can be difficult to find a trustworthy RV company these days, especially when everyone is concerned with quantity over quality. Although many businesses have placed customer satisfaction low on their priority list, one RV manufacturer continues to keep the consumer in mind as they put their products up for sale: Jayco.
The company, which was founded by Lloyd Bontrager in 1968, has long been a reputable business in the RV industry. Jayco has been providing top-notch vehicles to customers for decades, putting pride in its ability to create RVs suited for families and campers of all styles.
Unlike other RV companies, Jayco began on humble, nontraditional terms. Bontrager and his wife started Jayco on their family farm where they had the room to manufacture and test various types of vehicles. Originally, Jayco had just 15 employees when it started. Now, the company has an "extended family" staff base of more than 1,600 people.
Jayco is headquartered in rural Indiana where it manufacturers RVs and sells them to dealers across the country. The company is known for producing RVs ranging from camping trailers to fifth wheels. Its goal is to satisfy the needs of customers far and wide, helping them reconnect with the great outdoors.
