Fleetwood helps Americans get back to their roots through RVs

When families want to reconnect with each other, it's not uncommon for them to turn to the great outdoors. There's no better way to bond than beneath the stars around a campfire, which is why RV travel is growing in popularity.

More people are turning away from lavish exotic vacations and staying in their own neighborhoods, getting away from it all in their RVs. As the economy continues to recover, America is turning back to its roots and trekking across the country in these vehicles to appreciate all that North America has to offer.

One company that has been there through thick and thin over the years is Fleetwood. This business, which originally began around 1950, was first known as Coach Specialties. The company focused on developing RV accessories, rather than the vehicles themselves.

After owner John Crean saw the potential for the business to grow, he led Fleetwood to eventually begin developing RVs. By the time the name of the company had changed in the mid-1950s, the rest was history. Today, Fleetwood produces some of the most reliable, top quality RVs in the industry.
